Alba has more than 10 years of experience in business development and international project management. She joined Alibaba Group in 2015, working at the Headquarter in Hangzhou, and returned to Europe in 2017 to support Alibaba’s globalization helping Spanish and Portuguese brands reach more than 900 million consumers across China.
In 2019, Alba joined Alipay+ (Ant Group), a suite of cross-border payment and marketing solutions which connects merchants with multiple e-wallets from different countries and regions. Today, she is leading the business development strategy for Southern Europe and responsible of the European luxury sector.
Alba was born in Córdoba, Spain, and grew up in a Spanish-French family. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from University CEU San Pablo and she is a sworn translator designated by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Alba has studied and worked in multiple countries, including China, and she speaks English, Spanish, French and Chinese.
